Tessa is the Adult Representative on the BDA's Local Association's Board and is neurodiverse herself. A science graduate, her career so far has spanned a range of industry sectors - the media, scientific research, and public and third sectors. She has at times been an employee, self-employed, unemployed, a volunteer, a carer. a junior member of staff, a manager and a company director.
Tessa believes passionately in developing and empowering people, and is now a coach and accessibility consultant.
At this meeting on Zoom, Tessa will share her experience of dyslexia and neurodivergence, identify some of the accessibility challenges people can face in adult life (as well as the impact these can have), and will share some tips and strategies.
